Studies Of Structural Strategy
One consistent line of inquiry in our practice is in developing original building systems that are capable of constructing what we call 'Small Architectures'. In the last several years we've done this both at the behest of big-named clients, and in efforts of our own volition.
A few years ago we developed a 'Catalog of Structural Typologies' to help inform the foundations of these pursuits across their various iterations. One ancillary benefit of this was that our model shop got to build a handful of abstract models that are pretty fun to look at, such as this these.
